GI 179 A is an activator which when used in place of the standard activator will increase the tensil strength and elongation and decrease the shore A hardness of the cured silicone rubber. These changes are observed in the GI-Series bases with a shore A hardness of 25 or less. It is recommended for use where maximum stretch is required: glove molds, vacuume molds and block molds.
