Easy to Use Platinum Silicone Rubber
Mold Star Silicones cure to soft, strong rubbers which are tear resistant and exhibit very low long term shrinkage. They will last a long time in your mold library and are good for casting wax, gypsum, resins, and other materials. Cured rubber is heat resistant up to 450°F (232°C) and is suitable for casting low-temperature melt metal alloys.
One to One Mix Ratio
Mixed 1A:1B by volume (no weighing scale necessary) for precise measurements even and cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage.
No Vacuum Degassing
Relatively low viscosities making vacuum degassing optional and is not required for most applications. A uniform flow will help minimize entrapped air.
Translucent Series
Certified Skin Safe, fast curing silicones for making molds or casting into alginate molds. They offer an infinite number of color effects achieved by adding Silc Pig silicone pigments or Cast Magic effects powders.

Mold Star T Series are easy to use translucent platinum cure silicones that are mixed 1A:1B by volume (no weighing scale necessary). They feature a relatively low viscosity and vacuum degassing is not required for most applications. Mold Star T Series are good for casting wax, gypsum, resins, and other materials. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc Pig™ silicone pigments or Cast Magic™ effects powders. Mold Star T Series silicones are heat resistant up to 450 °F (232 °C) and are suitable for casting low-temperature melt metal alloys. Note: This product will not cure against surfaces containing sulfur, even when sealed.
Properly cured Mold Star 40T complies with 21 CFR 177.2600(e), water extractable limits for repeated use in aqueous food, “Rubber articles intended for repeated use” with dry food and aqueous food only. Not intended for repeated use in contact with fatty foods.
